A series of high profile guest lectures has been announced at Leeds Trinity University, as part of celebrations for the institution’s 50th Anniversary.
Author Gervase Phinn and Former Minister of State for Faith and Communities Baroness Warsi are among the notable line-up for the Trinity Talks over the next six months.
Professor Margaret A House, Vice Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University, said:
“I am delighted to announce the line-up for our Trinity Talks, for what I’m confident will be a topical, thought-provoking and engaging series of lectures. I am particularly looking forward to welcoming partners and alumni back onto campus, and to showcase our successful alumni and associates in our 50th year.”
The full line-up is as follows:
- Wednesday 1 February 2017 – Mark McGreevy OBE
- Wednesday 22 February 2017 – Gervase Phinn
- Thursday 18 May 2017 – Baroness Warsi
- Wednesday 14 June 2017 – Dame Louise Casey DBE CB
Everyone is welcome to attend the events including staff, students, members of the local community and friends of the University.
They each take place from 6.00pm with refreshments and networking, and the talks beginning at 7.00pm. Following the talks, there will be a Question and Answer panel with refreshments and networking until 9.00pm.
